A reminder sent to nobody is not a reminder
Dates do not renew themselves. Neither does a shared inbox that also gets toner ads. The useful setting is a person.

Operations
Name the person who actually calls.
The certificate is confirmed. The date is correct. Ninety days out, an email goes to office@ and dies under vendor mail. Nobody is lying. Nobody is assigned.
Intake between patients is a different failure: the file never gets on the calendar. This failure is quieter. The calendar is fine. The human path is not. DEA still belongs to the practitioner. The broker still has the policy. CMS still wants the laboratory director. A generic inbox is none of those people.
Route by the work, not by the software
- Who calls the board for a professional license
- Who prompts the practitioner on a DEA
- Who emails the broker on a policy period
- Who the laboratory director actually is, for CLIA
Protective software is not more alerts. It is an alert that reaches the person who can finish the renewal.
Owners and directors should see the same list
Do not make operations reconstruct who was reminded. Invite the people who renew into the same facility workspace. The date they see is the date you confirmed. The reminder is a nudge, not a second tracker.

Questions
Can we keep one clinic inbox?
You can. You will still miss renewals that need a director, a broker, or a practitioner. Put those people on the reminder by name.
Does CalSafe decide who renews?
No. You list the emails under reminder settings. The product only sends what you pointed at a person.
